This is the DOWNLOADABLE file for the A760E/A761E TechTran. A760E/A761E transmission is Toyota's first automatic six speed transmission designed for rear wheel drive applications in 2WD, 4WD and AWD configurations. It is said that it is one of the lightest six speed automatic transmissions in the world weighing in at 85 Kg (187 Lbs) wet. This transmission is currently found in 2003 and later Toyota/Lexus models worldwide. The electronic control system contains Artificial Intelligence which will constantly adapt to the operators driving habits.

The A960E Automatic Transmission is a 6 speed rear wheel drive electronically controlled transmission first introduced on the 2006 Lexus GS300 with the 3.0 Liter engine and then onto the 2006 IS250 with the 2.5 Liter engine. The A960E was designed for Lexus vehicles in 2WD and AWD configurations.Fuel economy and driving performance have been improved with this Multi-Mode transmission which can be shifted with paddle switches. The manual shift mode is a sequential shift which provides faster gear changes. The A960E Transmission shares many parts with the A760E/A761E Transmission and is virtually identical in powerflow.The AB60E was developed as an electronically controlled six speed rear drive transmission to be used in Toyota truck applications in 2WD and 4WD configurations. It was designed to provide overall weight reduction as well as adequate trailer towing capability. The AB60E Transmission is a larger version of the A760E Transmission and primarily functions the same as the A760E/A761E Transmissions.
