This is the DOWNLOAD link for the Ford A4LD TechTran covering the transmission found in the 1985 to 1995 Aerostar, Ranger, Mustang, Bronco II, and Explorer. Covers transmission assembly, dis-assembly, diagnosis, and troubleshooting. NOTE: There have been many engineering changes in this transmission since its introduction. ATSG also has available an "Update Handbook" which includes the many changes that occured to the A4LD and is highly recommended along with this manual for a proper overhaul or repair.
